About Craftsman
Craftsman is a label which traces its roots to 1927, when it was first registered by the Sears department store. The brand has been only recently acquired by Stanley Black & Decker. Their products seem to be assembled in the US, from materials that are sourced abroad. Their selection features a wide range of lawn keeping equipment, including several leaf blowers. Little by little, Craftsman are diversifying their leaf blower offers. Craftsman blowers used to be exclusively handheld and electrically powered, but we now see backpack, walk-behind and gas-powered models. Both their price and specs range from the lower to middle tier.
Warranty Information
The Craftsman CMCBL720D2 is covered under a warranty for up to 3 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the blower.

Questions & Answers

I bought the 20 volt blower because I have a 20 volt weed eater and thought I would have 4 batteries to use! Well they are not interchangeable. The new batteries are fairly good for time of use but are so slow to recharge you can’t recharge one while using the other. This is the last Craftsman tool i will ever buy. I used only Craftsman for years in my business bot now that Stanley has purchased them they are no longer the quality tools they were. A real shame!
I have tried many different blowers, best so far!
It’s ok for small chores but that’s about it.
Seems like it wants to shut down after about 10 minutes of use because the battery gets hot. Then you have to wait for it to cool down to start again. Anyone else having this problem?
I just bought this and in less than 10 minutes the battery stops I have 2 additional batteries for my other Craftsman tools luckily they also fit but having a large lawn and only getting alittle over 20 min total with 3 batteries it will take me way to many days to get my lawn all done. My Orthopedic doctor just told me I shouldn’t rake or shovel due to a shoulder injury so I picked this one because of having other Craftsman tools. When I remove the battery it is very very hot so I don’t know if it is running out of charge or just over heating after about 7 minutes. After reading others comments. What is the amount of time the battery should last on full power and should it be overheating battery like this?
I think that for the price of this unit and with the brushless motor, this unit should last more than 10 minutes running time! I purchased the leaf blower along with weed eater and I think that there should’ve been a battery for each! I doesn’t run like I thought it would!
This blower is manufactured to blow off your deck maybe but to do leaf blowing in the yard???? NO. The battery only lasts long enough to spiffy things up a bit but not enough to do real work at moving a moderate amount of leaves. It didn’t last long enough for me to blow off my driveway. The power of the blower peters out quickly till it dies. The string trimmer combo sounded like a bargain but I should have passed on this unit.
