POWER+ Battery Technology
EGO's POWER+ technology is based on a high-end patented ARC Lithium™ design which utilizes a third row of cells to achieve high-voltage performance. Combined with a revolutionary phase-change material which envelopes each cell, the arc-design of the cell's arrangement allows for more efficient cooling and an optimum power distribution across all rows of cells. This technology also embeds a patented power management system that monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize its power, performance, and runtime. Moreover, the battery casing is completely sealed and has an enhanced shock and weather resistivity. Thus, the battery is protected from drops, rain and the elements.

Questions & Answers
On the LB5302. The speed switch on the front of the handle can go from a 10 O' clock to a 2 O' Clock position. What are the non-turbo CFM's in either of those two positions. Is the advertised length of use of 75 minutes only relevant when the switch is in the 10 O' Clock position. (Asked October 10, 2021)
The non-turbo CFM of the unit is 250-400. The advertised length of use of 75 minutes is at the lowest speed. Length of use is around 22 minutes at high speed, and 10 minutes at turbo speed.

Had a Toro corded blower which I hardly used – cord was more of a pain than I envisioned. Purchased LB5302 on sale this spring for $159 with battery. Build quality is very good – feels solid although lightweight at 7.3 pounds with the battery. Already had an EGO string trimmer so now we have a second battery for backup power. Use it primarily for blowing clumped grass after mowing and kicking the blower into Turbo mode provides more than enough power for stubborn clumps or displaced mulch. Purchased the optional nozzle to help achieve stronger airflow. I have neighbors with very loud backpack or handheld blowers that I find annoying. This is really no louder than the Toro electric at high speeds. Have not yet had a chance to try in on light snow but it’s quiet enough that I wouldn’t be afraid to use it early in the morning on a work day. I would consider getting a strap if I were going to use it for more than 20 minutes.
Battery didn’t have as much capacity. I did use the turbo booster, as I have turf and wanted to clean out the debris. Was easy to handle, a lot more balanced than my old Toro. I don’t think it has as much power as the Toro, however, the Toro is a corded blower, and I am 72 with back problems, so I found just snapping the battery on and getting the job done without having to wind and unwind electrical cord was nice. The box was delivered to my vehicle in curbside pick up by the hardware store, not sealed, no owners manual so when I contacted the hardware store, they suggested I should go online and print a manual. I think the unit had been purchased and returned by another customer, seems kind of flaky to not be mfg. sealed and missing the owners manual.
