Description

Overview of the RedMax EBZ9000RH

  • Power: The EBZ9000RH, produced by RedMax, is a gas-powered leaf blower capable of expelling a maximum air volume of 1245 cubic feet per minute (CFM). Its air speed is rated at 216 miles per hour (MPH).
  • Handling: This blower’s backpack functionality makes make it less exerting on the user, even when used for an extended period of time. Its throttle is located on the tube, which allows you to keep your left hand free. However, for a gas-powered backpack blower, the RedMax EBZ9000RH is heavier than most, weighing 26.5 lbs.
  • Engine: This blower is fitted with a 79.4cc X-Torq® engine. Being that this is a 2-stroke engine, it must be fuelled using a mix of gas and oil. The proper fuel ratio set by the manufacturer for the EBZ9000RH is 50:1.
  • Speed Settings: There are times when you only need a little more power, while other times you will want a bit more precision when clearing leaves and debris. For this purpose, the EBZ9000RH offers variable speed settings, adding you, the user, more control, and a cruise control mode, which will allow you to maintain it comfortably for as long as you wish.
  • Fuel Tank: With a tank that can hold 91.3 fluid ounces, this model has a much higher fuel capacity than your typical gas backpack blower. In fact, it is the biggest tank you'll find in our selection of gas backpack blowers.
  • X-Torq®: The X-Torq® is Husqvarna's latest technology for two-stroke engines. It reduces fuel consumption by up to 20% and harmful exhaust emissions by up to 60% while increasing torque over a wider rpm range.

About RedMax

RedMax is an established power equipment brand in North America, known for its trimmers, chainsaws and, of course, leaf blowers. Interestingly, the company traces its roots back to Japan, where it was founded in 1910 as the Tokyo Gas Kogyo Company. TGCK went through numerous name changes and settled with the names Komatsu Zenoah (globally) and RedMax/Zenoah (North America), under which they sell their products to this day. The company was acquired by Husqvarna in 2007. RedMax has a somewhat extensive portfolio of more than 10 leaf blowers, both backpack and handheld, and has recently launched a battery powered product line. RedMax products are produced in various plants over the globe, which are not limited to Japan.
