The SKIL BL4713-10's performance versus other blowers
The following charts are provided to give you an idea how the key specs of the SKIL BL4713-10 compare with handheld leaf blowers of similar voltage (between 36 and 48V).
- At only 4.6 lbs (bare tool), the SKIL BL4713-10 offers a lighter option within the cordless handheld blowers in the 36 to 48V range. Should weight be a deciding factor, the Black+Decker LSW40C is worth a look at just 2.4 lbs the bare tool.
- Exiting the nozzle, the air can reach speeds of up to 193 MPH, showcasing impressive velocity for a battery-operated handheld blower between 36 and 48V. If you wish to benefit from air expelled at the fastest possible speed, the Husqvarna 350iB and its 200 MPH could be an option to consider.
- Its air volume, rated at 500 CFM, is typical among cordless handheld blowers with a comparable voltage. If air volume is important to you, the Ryobi RY40HPLB01K, with 800 CFM, could be in your good books.
- When fully charged, the BL4713-10 offers up to 50 minutes of autonomy, which may be considered relatively short compared to cordless handheld units of comparable voltage. To enjoy the best possible autonomy in this category, you could have a look at the Stihl BGA 200 which offers up to 535 minutes of runtime.
- Runtime efficiency for the SKIL BL4713-10 is among the better figures in its class, helping the user get more work out of each charge. If runtime efficiency matters most to you, you might look at the Stihl BGA 50, which delivers a higher runtime efficiency of 0.8 minutes per Wh.

User Reviews
This blower will only run for about 8 minutes on a fully charged battery at high speed. Why would you ever run a blower at anything other than high. Plenty of power but just doesn’t run long enough.
