The SKIL BL4714B-10's performance versus other blowers
The following charts are provided to give you an idea how the key specs of the SKIL BL4714B-10 compare with handheld leaf blowers of similar voltage (between 18 and 24V).
- The SKIL BL4714B-10 distinguishes itself among other cordless handheld blowers in the 18 to 24V range for its light bare tool design, weighing only 4.4 lbs without the battery. Should weight be a deciding factor, the Worx WG543 is worth a look at just 2.3 lbs the bare tool.
- Air expelled from the nozzle of this blower can reach 100 MPH. When compared to others of this type, the BL4714B-10 has a lower air speed than most battery-operated handheld blowers in the 18 to 24V range. For the fastest air speed in this category, you may want to consider the Worx WG550, which can expell air at a velocity that can reach 175 MPH.
- At 400 CFM, the BL4714B-10's air volume output is typical for cordless handheld blowers with a comparable voltage. If air volume is important to you, the Worx WG550, with 620 CFM, could be in your good books.
