Description
Overview of the Troy-Bilt TB27BH
- Power: The Troy-Bilt TB27BH is a gas-powered blower with a maximum air volume rating of 450 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and an air speed of 205 MPH.
- Handling: Ideal for those seeking a compact and portable leaf blower, this model provides ease of handling and use, making it a convenient choice for any task. The Troy-Bilt TB27BH distinguishes itself among other gas-powered handheld blowers for its lightweight design, weighing just 9.5 lbs.
- Engine: This blower's engine has a displacement specification of 27cc. Being that this is a 2-stroke engine, it must be fuelled using a mix of gas and oil. The proper fuel ratio set by the manufacturer for the TB27BH is 40:1.
- Speed Settings: With its variable speed settings, the Troy-Bilt TB27BH allows you to precisely control its air output. In addition, the blower is also equipped with cruise control, with which the user can easily maintain the selected settings.
- Noise: Its noise rating of 74 dB can be considered the standard for similar gas-powered handheld blowers.
- Fuel Tank: The Troy-Bilt blower's fuel tank boasts a standard capacity of 14 fl. oz., aligning with the typical size found in gas handheld blowers.
- SpringAssist™: The Troy-Bilt TB27BH benefits from the proprietary SpringAssist™ starting system. This system allows the operator to start the leaf blower with a slow and steady pull on the starter rope, which greatly reduces the pulling effort needed.
The Troy-Bilt TB27BH's performance versus other blowers
The following charts are provided to give you an idea how the key specs of the Troy-Bilt TB27BH compare with similar leaf blowers.
- Forced air exiting this blower has been clocked at a max speed of 205 MPH. This puts the TB27BH ahead of the pack as far as air speed is concerned in gas-powered handheld blowers. If you wish to benefit from air expelled at the fastest possible speed, the Craftsman BV2500 and its 250 MPH could be an option to consider.
- The Troy-Bilt TB27BH boasts an airflow rate of 450 CFM (cubic feet per minute), which is standard for gas-powered handheld blowers. If air volume is important to you, the Ryobi JET FAN RY25AXB, with 520 CFM, could be in your good books.

Questions & Answers
There are no questions yet. Ask the first question.
I have 2 of these. First one worked great for a little over 2 years and then the carburetor needed to be replaced. I had extended warranty so they replaced it. I bought another one with the money they gave me. It lasted 1 year before carburetor needed replacement. No service center near me. The repair centers near me do not have the proper tool. So, I have two blowers with the same diagnosis but no way to prove it to Troy-Bilt. I only used TruFuel in both.
