Husqvarna 525BX vs 125BVX - The Differences
Feel, Fuel & Noise
As the 125BVX and the 525BX are both Husqvarna blowers, they benefit from the same level of quality and attention to detail.
- Since both products are handheld blowers, they offer excellent mobility for your convenience.
- Both products are gas-powered blowers - gas is a reliable power source which you can refill in a matter of seconds, offering you the freedom of movement to tackle larger outdoor spaces with ease.
- The Husqvarna 125BVX's 9.6-lb weight is very close to the 9.48 lbs of the Husqvarna 525BX, meaning comfort, handling, and fatigue should be almost identical between the two.
- The slight disparity in noise rating between the Husqvarna 125BVX at 94 dB and the Husqvarna 525BX at 91 dB could have tangible effects. While the operator might experience slightly more noise, nearby neighbors may also perceive a subtle increase in disturbance.
CFM & MPH
- The Husqvarna 525BX with a CFM of 459 slightly exceeds the 425 CFM of the Husqvarna 125BVX. Thus, in comparison, you may find that the former is able to move more leaves per minute.
- The Husqvarna 525BX, with an MPH of 192, modestly outpaces the 170 MPH of the Husqvarna 125BVX, ensuring slightly quicker air expulsion for more efficient leaf blowing and debris lifting.
Engine specs
- The Husqvarna 125BVX boasts a larger fuel tank capacity, with 16.91 fl.oz., surpassing the 15.22 fl.oz. of the Husqvarna 525BX. Consequently, you can store more fuel, potentially extending operational time, assuming similar engine fuel consumption rates.
- When comparing engine displacements, the 28-cc engine of the Husqvarna 125BVX edges out the 25.4-cc engine of the Husqvarna 525BX. This indicates a potential slight increase in fuel consumption per stroke and a corresponding bump in power output. Both of these leaf blowers are equipped with 2-stroke engines, meaning they require an oil/fuel mix for operation.
